Gerupuk - Sunrise over the island
You set your alarm to 7am, but the echoes of morning prayer and roosters crowing will surely wake you up before dawn.
You're thankful though, because you peak outside your window to find the sun raising its sleepy head from the mountains on the horizon; and you witness the village come to life, underscored by the gentle humming of motors as the fishing and surfing boats skim across the water in search of a good catch or a good wave.
Before long, the sun roars hot in the sky and the air is humid. The day kicks into action and the brief golden glow of twilight is gone until sunset.
